The good: I'm finally updating my journal and adding some photos, both of which I've been neglecting of late...
The bad: Somebody broke into my car last week. They smashed through my passenger window, and stole my bicycle out of the back, along with my tripod. The tripod was an old, cheap, lightweight guy that was falling apart on me, but the bicycle was very nice, and kinda expensive. More importantly, it was the bike that I bought with my wife right after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. We both purchased bikes so that she could get into the best shape possible while she still had the chance. I'm certain that biking helped to get her through the chemo, and ultimately prolonged her life a bit.
This is also the bike I've been using to get photos from the beautiful area bike trails. Depending on when I can buy a new bike and how the weather holds up, I may have to limit my outdoor photography until spring

The beautiful: The theatre where I work is celebrating its 85th season, and we opened our first main stage show with a little surprise; our entire theatre has been beautifully renovated! I've been taking photos all summer, but haven't been allowed to publish them until now. So as not to photo-bomb, I'll post a few off and on over the next few weeks.
Have a wonderful week everyone!

We're nothing like God. Not only are our powers limited, sometimes we're driven to become the Devil himself.
