This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello ~DGolden, I submitted your motors room to #TheatreArtists and I think you have to approve before it shows up! Please I hope you approve. That is one great image!
Thank you! I'm impressed your work, especially the foam carving. I do most of the foam work in my shop, but I don't have your level of knowledge or skill. We tend to adhere our foam pieces with spray contact glue and coat it with a latex caulk/joint compound mixture. It looks like you adhere with some sort of spray foam? I'm guessing Sculpt-Or-Coat (or a similar product) to finish.
I use the Dow enerfoam with a gun that we get from Demand Products. They are the guy we also use for hot wire cutters. I have the 3M product for contact work but do not always have time or great joints to use it so spray glue and bambo to hold until set. I also use mix of FSC-88 WB and spackeling compound watered down and brushed on. For really smooth work that is covered with stright out of container spackle that is then sanded before the idiot with the big hose hot coat machine has a go at it. For my own work I go from the sanded waterbase products to epoxy with filler and denatured alcohol to make it flow. Maybe some glass thrown in for extra strength. If I want additional detail I add apoxy sculpt with the same denatured alcohol to build. But I am not above adding polyester and bondo! So just so I get what I want anything goes.
Going well. My last two shows of the season, (at two different theatres) closes this Sunday. I'm hoping to have more time in the next few months to do more biking and take more photos, although the floods around here have closed most of my favorite trails. I need to go through my theatre-related photos this summer, see if I have anything worth posting. Most of the interesting things I've done this season are technically complicated, but not necessarily photogenic.
